Sie ver\u00f6ffentlicht kontinuierlich Gedichte und Erz\u00e4hlungen, h\u00e4lt Vortr\u00e4ge \u00fcber Philosophie und Musik, malt, zeichnet, kreiert, stellt aus \u2026 <br \/>Was sie am meisten besch\u00e4ftigt, ist die Frage, wie und ob man die einzelnen Disziplinen voneinander trennen kann? Wie k\u00f6nnten Musik, Mathematik, Physik, Poesie, Kunst, Geschichte &#8230; unabh\u00e4ngig voneinander existieren? \u201eAlles ist miteinander verbunden und jedes einzelne Ding besitzt eine plurale Identit\u00e4t,\u201c so SIHAM ISSAMI.<\/p><p>Geboren in einer Oase am Fu\u00dfe des Hohen Atlas und am Tor zur W\u00fcste, Errachidia, wuchs sie an der Atlantikk\u00fcste Marokkos auf, haupts\u00e4chlich in Rabat, und wurde sowohl in der berberisch-arabischen als auch in der franz\u00f6sischen Kultur erzogen, die in vielerlei Hinsicht eher europ\u00e4isch als berberisch ist. Unter diesen Umst\u00e4nden ist Multilinguismus die Normalit\u00e4t. seit dem S\u00e4uglingsalter h\u00f6rt und spricht man drei verschiedene Sprachen. Dass es eine einzige Muttersprache gibt, hat ISSAMI erst viel sp\u00e4ter entdeckt und es kam ihr merkw\u00fcrdig vor. Sie beherrscht inzwischen sechs Sprachen, pendelt zwischen \u201eOst\u201c und \u201eWest\u201c, \u201eOrient\u201c und \u201eOkzident\u201c, kennt keine un\u00fcberwindbaren Landesgrenzen. F\u00fcr sie gibt es keine bestimmte Linie, wo das eine endet und das andere beginnt.<\/p><p>Parallel zu ihrer literarischen und k\u00fcnstlerischen Arbeit \u00fcbernahm sie mehrere verantwortungsvolle Positionen im Kunst- und Kulturbereich. Sie war Generalsekret\u00e4rin des \u201eGrand Prix de la Critique Litt\u00e9raire\u201c (Paris), Vorstandsmitglied des franz\u00f6sischen P.E.N.-Clubs und arbeitete mehrere Jahre als Beraterin des marokkanischen Kulturministers (Rabat).
